Default How tatasky is hoodwinking its viewers

A few months back tata sky abruptly stopped telecasting dd spatagiri, a telugu channel which is a cultural channel of doordarshan in telugu. Instead they have added tv5 a telugu news channel which is not at all a replacement to dd saptagiri in genre, content and quality of programmes.

Adding salt to injury, they have added sri venkateswara bhakti channel(svbc) in active darshan . Svbc is not just a darshan channel. It is a spiritual, cultural, and devotional channel. Due its inclusion in active dharshan it comes in a shrinked format to the poor viewers. One wonder after paying rs.45/- they have settle to view the lord in a shrink ed format. Can any one educate the tata sky people so that they come to senses?

I have e mailed them on the two above points but, naturally, there was no response.

When tata sky first launched in 2006, they advertised in t.v. Showing people throwing their music systems, cd/dvd players from their balconies apparently to get tata sky. I would like to say if tata sky do not mend their ways, oneday people throw away their tata sky stb and dishes in same fashion from their balconies to opt for an alternative dth service.

Default Tata Sky is offering the best available service

who says tv5 is not popular. Every channel has its viewership and infact Tata Sky and even others do a balancing act in packaging channels to satisfy most of the viewers..

i have not said tv5 is not popular. I just said that the genre, contents and quality of programmes are not comparable to DD saptagiri. TV5 is a news channel and DD saptagiri is a normal channel

i am really not sure about this change but it sounds strange, Uma i request you just check it with Tata once they can provide you some solution for this like adding DD saptagiri for you as an add-on or something.

I am using Tata Sky and never found any problems with that in fact last time when i called tata they provided me Ten sports channel free of cost for 2 months as a trial.

I agree, Tata Sky does not have regional channels. What I heard is that for regional channels, SUN DTH is the best! Don't know about Dish TV.

no SD is worse and DISH TV is also not worth in terms of pic.quality so no DTH is worth :nono:
