Probably because:
Just my 2 cents.
- They are yet to reach an agreement with the content providers on pricing.
- TataSky is already the costliest of all DTH providers. They cannot afford to increase costs any more.
- They could add this as an "Add on package" but the experience shows that not many people subscribe to add on packages and then the cost of transmission is not recovered.

Tata sky has added 2 new channels. They are Zee Telugu and Zee Kannada. I think it is part of their strategy to expand business in the south.

R those channels? Never heard of them.
Those are devotional channels. Shalom is a malayalam devotional channel, while GOD is an english channel of the same category.
tata sky has finally added 9XM ...
I think 9XM has excellent quality of video and music. Hoppefully, more music channels shall be added very soon.
Seems good. Sad that i am not getting the said channel in my ACTV connection.
my opinions about 9xm so far are not so +ve ... average channel ... not all those trendy and fun stuff like in channel V and MTv ... just a simple music channel

wud it have killed them to include some older songs like from '01-'04, some classical songs too which were good... another similar channel is imagine showbiz

TRP matters for every channel .. even for music channels ... the newer songs and videos are in more demand among general public ... i would have liked the music channels to show songs from 90's. but do you expect them to make much money by doing so? :no:a simple music channel which just plays the same songs over and over again

Music india is a channel which is good in this aspect .. lets see when it is inherited by tata sky
