Thread: tatasky card deactivated

Recently tatasky deactivated my digicard because they found I shifted the STB abroad. This followed my mail about trouble in viewing channel and software update. They called my home phone number and found I am not there. They sent me mail cofirming my deactivation due to above reasons and they will activate only if I bring the STB to india and confirm with them and sign a guarantee letter.

Beware guys abroad . Inform ur home, or to the mobile no. users registered in tatasky

TataSky is right to take this action. You are not supposed to take the STB abroad. The CPE is rented to you and it is property of TataSky. Getting TS signals outside India is illegal and TS will get into trouble with Govt. of India.
