Thread: Tata Skys New Face Asin

The new face of Tata Sky is Asin the new girl in the recently released film Ghajini!

Apparently Tata Sky thinks that she has a very fresh looking face and she would be very appropriate for the the company and help in promoting it, especially with her film Ghajini!

I have not yet seen any ads by her for Tata Sky, but lets see how she does!

I have seen the adbut i must like to say one thing that GUL panag is excellent with in tatasky adv. she is more cute and good looking and fresh face then Asin.

Hmm even i think that Gul Panag has a better and fresher face than Asin!

I haven't yet seen the ad!

Gul Panag is more attractive but Asin is classier.

why argue, they should have both.

I recently saw asin's ad on youtube.. i think Gul has this cute classy touch, as far as asin is concerned, she seems fresh nd vibrant..

I think both look great in their own ways. Asin has a more indian look while Gul has a more european feel. I believe Asin is more targeted towards the south audience.

thats a good point Mirzarocx, her being a south actress will bring in more south Indian customers!

but asin is in spotlight now, so i think tata's strategy is pretty nice

They need to use Asin better in their ads. I dont think her potentail has been fully exploited.

they have like a whole bunch of Ads starring Asin... m still not a big fan though, probably coz i havent seen gajini yet...

i think its not a question of asin vs gul panag ... tata sky changes these faces very frequently ... after a few ads of gul panag ... its time to do something new

ya, true.. i have actually liked all their ads in the past.. i really liked tht ad, a guy dressed in grass on the cricket field, its a very old ad.. was good.. and also the one with only amir playin a punjabi couple...

i cannot recall the first ad you mentioned ... can you plz give some more details

yes I also remember the grass guy ad. it tried to showcase their multi angle shots of the cricket matches.

ya, thats the one.. it has this guy who wants to watch the match closely from all angles so he enters the field wearing an outfit made from grass so that he can camouflage well with the field.

I just saw a new ad of tata sky. It features sumeet raghavan of sarabhai vs sarabhai fame. Quiet a funny ad with Aamir kahn going on and on about pativrata patnis.

ya, i saw it too ... cool but not upto the mark ... i liked ads of gul panag more

I like that guy from sarabhai vs sarabhai.. He s is a good actor.. the ad is pretty simple and good.

The best part in these Tata Sky ads are the punch lines at the end eg. where Gul says "acting acchi kar lete ho" and he says "I really love u yaar!"

Actually when you come to think of it all Tata ads are exceptional somehow, here m even considering the the jago re Ad by Tata tea.. i loved those series of Ads as well.. the one with the minister visiting this guy aking for vote.. and the tata sky ads too are just not about aamir standing and talking about the product.. it has a mild comic angle to it... tata sky is very creative in terms of their ads..

absolutely .. specially in comparison with ads of other DTH services. DISH tv could have created really interesting ads with shahrukh ... but the "kya aap cable se santoosht hain!" formula sucks ...

Tata Sky has started this contest for 'dinner with Asin' for all its south subscribers... Considering her emerging fan base there its a good call by them..
