Wierd numbers are a dRM (digital rights management) measure. It is supposed to identify your signal id. It is alos supposed to thwart and catch pirate cable operators who steal DTH signal.

I have noticed that it comes on other DTH networks as well and I even remember seeing it at a friend's place on hathway cable.

These numbers keep appearing on all DTH platforms. If I remember, they appeared on cable also.

But in UK and USA, they never appear.

I think they appears in all DTH services. It is to check if rogue cable operators are not illegally stealing transmission.
