These types of contests are generated at the minds of those sales/marketing deptt. guys of a co. who want to generate some extra cash with little hassle.

TataSky must operate a simpler, honest way that is..
to provide good channels, low cost and user friendly..

not just increasing fake channels like Russia today and all that.. and taking away the money from customers like this sms plans...

and how much will they earn at the end of this contest??

Even I used to think these contest are promotional measures but after I won a handycam by sony and a earphone by another branded co where the handycam was for a movie quiz and the ear phone for a simple question like all other quiz'z. I totally give my best to these contest besides Tata Sky is a reputed Co. what makes you think its a hoax

Btw, i didnt say its a hoax. And how much will Tata earning from this contest.

Companies earn so much from these kind of contests and many fall for them, have you ever heard about the winner or they even announced it...........nope!

Yes thats what i want to reply to her. Companies are actually earning from such fraudulent contests. I remember it was in 99. When Britannia started a contest called watch world cup in England. MILLIONS OF INDIANS took part in it. And in it you had to make 100points and you will recieve a coded leaflet by retailer and when you open you see Try Again better luck next time. After six months just some 3 dozen guys were there in London. So, in reply to this bunch of watchers, how much did the company earned?millions.

Dinner with Asin was also a contest by Tata Sky. There were announcements, press release that actually took place Asin at “Dinner with Asin” Tata Sky event

I am not against such competitions. But i believe that a great organisation like Tata must get out of these things. Cause at last it brings just a bad name to company because people want good quality when Tata is picking up ransom from them in the name of extra channels and transfer of STBs. Tata is a reputed company. Must behave.

I think these are opportunities to more than watching TV. It also provides a social approach to customers which is beyond customer satisfaction.

Hmmmm. What kinda social approach? I am not able to understand. Either they think Tata users have enough money to take part in these competitions.
Btw, i am a Tata lover,thats why i want them to keep out of it. Once the customers know your game, they will start to get off your services.

I too am a Tata Sky lover so lets just feel free to take part in the contest the decision is discrete if you like it take part if not let it go. Social approach by Tata sky means that many fans of Asin got a chance to socialize at (Dinner with Asin) such events and maintain good public relation.

i will take part in this contest only when Katrina is taken in.

Well this contest is for sport events she could be supporting Vijay mallya's team But this is not the IPL
