Thread: Hello Everybody-New to Tata sky

This is really excellent forum for all DTH Members to express their comments and take good opinions. hats off to moderator and forum members.

I recently got a Tata sky connection (MDO), had no option though as there was a single dish for our complete building. But i am happy as quality of Tata sky is good , though a bit expensive.

I also subcribed to Annual package of Super value pack priced at 2000 Rs along with Lifestyle gold Annual package of 450 Rs, however then i realised that all the engilish channels are not covered and they fall into super saver pack of 3025 Rs. While subscribing to above channels through customer care, they said i cannnot change my annual package

I need to have the english channels like HBO and Star movies. I have 300 Rs extra in my account.What do i do in that case. can you suggest some good options.

First I would like to say that Tata Sky packages are not good and very costly.

Most of the important channels are available on Add-on pack, Leaving their base pack dry and costly. like all sports channels are in add-on pack, Good channels like colors, zoom WM, BiNDASS, Imagine all are in add on packs.

Further their new pack Cosmo contains good english movie channels but again in add-on pack that too very costly Rs.45.

So Over all their packages are not good and very costly. So you don'y have much options to choose from.

Just give them a quick call and upgrade to the next package and pay the difference. Tata sky in my opinion is the best dth provider in India.
