they fail to give channels for regional language

That's true at present Tata Sky have least number of Regional channels and missed out lots of important regional channels. currently dishtv is providing good number of regional channels and almost all the good and important regional channels are available on Dishtv in all language Zones.

Tata Sky have added regional channels like IBN Lokmat, NDTV Hindu, 9xm so there are channels that are being added by Tata Sky, we could also expect many more to come in soon.

9XM, NDTV Hindu - Regional channels........?????? I doubt that they are regional channels also in recent past they haven't added any new channels and specially no new regional channels.

These have high regional appeal mostly to south viewers and NDTV hindu is highly influential in Chennai. NDTV hindu has been added lately.

For your information 9XM is Hindu Music channel and does not show any regional music. Further SS Music is regional music channel (Tamil) and is the best Tamil music channel which is not available on Tata Sky. and their are many good regional channels which are missing on Tata Sky.

Why doesn't Dish tv broadcast NEO? cricket series are going on and the best telecaster is NEO.

Tata sky is no doubt in this time most thife,chitr.
While first lunching then its rock but now no doubt vogas. Now tata sky main scheme "actve". No reginoal chanel. I am bengali and muslim. I want bengali chanel, peace tv
i call couple time and request pleaSe add chanel. But no result. Sirf answer while add ur request u give a mesge frm our system

Peace tv is not provided by many Dth providers.

On the point of addition of new channels, I would be to differ. We need to look at things in perspective. All DTH providers begin with small number of channels and they increase over time. Tata Sky too has added regional channels over a period of time. However, there is a difference between a local cable operator and national level players like Tata Sky, Dish Tv etc.. DTH operators have to show the channels that reach out to highest audience. So they add only the most popular channels of almost every regional language. No DTH provider will offer all regional channels but that is a price people are willing to pay. There are checks and balances in every system. As the time goes by, more channels will be added but I think it is foolhardy to expect all DTH including Tata Sky to satisfy needs of every regional language.

Very well put. But adding regional channels is not a big deal really as they are not as costly as the mainstream channels.

Personally, I think that TataSky provides most (if not all) channels.
