please tell me that if broadband available on tata sky.
In India broadband's are not available on DTH Services.
yes its not available on satellite in India..
Presently broadband is not available on any DTH service in India.
If such a function is brought on the DTH platform it may even stand more competitive than PC's.
Yes you are right.................
DTH Broadband Internet in India By Airtel, Dish TV or Reliance | Web 3

![]()
Will be available soon...........
in abroad net is available on dth and many other networks and is on minimum rates.
hope the same asap in india
reliance promises net on dth before launch but when it is launched they forget the net
hope for the best![]()
Apart from IPTV which Dth provides internet facility?
No DTH provider is providing internet via satellite dish - not just in India - anywhere in the world.
No its not useless.. DTH supports both downlink and uplink..
internet on tata sky is not available at the moment but it will soon be.I recently got tata sky+ HD and it has a usb port as well as a lan port.So internet on dth is definately coming soon
Even as early as 2002 DTH providers in US offered broadband internet combined with TV package.
Very fast -no tower-uplink direct to stationary satellite in the sky.but not always consistent (during rain/snow)then.
Now ADSL 3G broadband thro telephone/cable company's are bundled .
ATT and others offer
land line+ADSL internet+mobile phone voice +mobile data broadband + TV all in one combo.
So Airtel ,Reliance,Tata sky can rock the boat (existing2g/3g cartels) if priced aggressively. just day dreaming!![]()
DTH transponder does not have uplink function. and regarding USB it is for future so that we can transfer our recorded programs to pendrive which is not available currently
when dth can send the link if digicomp is active or not it can send the uploading link also
There were some experimental deployments for remote areas scotland where DTH system was used for download and a mobile was used for upload facility. but not sure if it ever was launched commercially.
