    Default Tata Sky or Hathway

    Hi,
I am moving to an apartment and all the flats have Hathway set-top box with it. Presently I am with Tata Sky and I am not sure should I continue with Tata Sky or move to Hathway. Please suggest

If you find tata sky satisfied, then stick to it without changing your operator.

Looking at the features and specs of both,i personally advice you:
Tatasky, there is a very rare or no downtime of tatasky, even in rainy days,
    It's performance is Very Good

Don't look at price if you want "Reliability and Stability"
What Tata Sky,it is famous for!

    The Ultimate choice is yours.
Get the demo by visiting the residentials of the new apartment you are moving to,
If Hathway Satisfies you,Then go for it otherwise Tata Sky is "The Best"

If your happy with the service of Tata Sky then stick with that, rather than regretting changing to another DTH provider, unless you know what Hathway is like.

    Thanks Milend, Preeti!

I will stick with Tata Sky. I have seen the performance of Hathway and it is not so clear!

Both have their pros and cons. Tata sky being DTH will get outages in heavy rains. If you are at some place which gets a lot of rain year round then DTH is not for you as you will get outages when there is heavy rain and it could last up to 20-30 mins some times. I am in Delhi and last week I saw an outage of around 20 mins and it doesnt even rain that much here. Cable TV is a lot better in that respect. Hathway or whatever is available there would have more probability of staying up and running as these cable guys have very large recievers which are less prone to lost signals.

Tata sky is what I have been using for over a decade and find it alright but it is priced a bit higher then what you would be paying with Hathway.

I think if you want variety in channels then it is best to choose Tata Sky, although it is costlier than the other DTH providers it is the best one to choose from.
