Thread: Tata Sky+ iPhone app ready for download

Some good news for iPhone users, Tata Sky+ iPhone app is available online. You can find the application in the itunes website. iphone users can also send an SMS RR to 56633 and download the app.

Note: This app is only compatible with OS4

I cannot edit my above post so I am making a quick follow-up. I have mistakenly put that the iphone app works with sms but iphone app doesn't work with the sms feature. The Tata Sky mobile access app works by going to istore and downloading it from there.

What does this application do?

The application is for recording function from iphones.

OK. You mean that you can remotely program the TS+ box to record something from iPhone?

Duhhh!!!! What can I say more????

So how does it work? Using the data connection or you still have to send an sms but this time using that Iphone application that you are talking about?

Honestly, I don't use an iphone but from what I understand this is how it works.

Step 1:
download the app and install it in your iphone.

Step 2:
Login using your subscriber id and password

Step 3:
Select the particular channel

Step 4:
Select the particular programme that you want to record

Step 5:
Select the record option.

This should record that particular programme. Hope this clarifies the app and maybe someone else can fill in on the exact details of the technology used.
