I have used the fine tune option when I search channels to get more clarity in reception. Now I have observed such similar fine tuning where colours get vibrant and vivid this is provided by HD. The clarity provides insight to certain specs which otherwise would not be viewable in SD. I am also amazed that with the clarity the colours too represent the real picture whereas in most cases although there is clarity in picture the colour may be slightly distorted instead of dark green leaves appear as light green in a normal SD viewing. It makes watching shows like wildlife so much better, it gives you the actual feel of being through a sanctuary or having a wildlife experience.
