Thread: Want to sell my 23 days old Tata Sky in Gurgaon

As i am shifting from Gurgaon, so i want to sell my Tata Sky set top box which i have purchased on 1/11/2010. As per the current offer it is of 999 rs, i will sell it in rs 500 only and the installation charges of 300 has to bear by the the purchaser. Even then there is a benifit of 200 + the recharge remaining for 20 days worth rs 100.

Can I buy the TATA sky equipment from a dealer and do the installation myself? How would the costs be? I read somewhere that the equipment is nowadays called as a property of TATA sky by the company and it owns rights over it..

It will be very difficult if not impossible. Dish needs to be aligned properly and you will need the signal meter to measure the highest signal strength.

Part 2 of query: Yes. The CPE (customer premises equipment) including dish, LNB, STB, VC, etc. belongs to TataSky. This was always the case and not something new. But even if you kept it what will you do with it? It is not as if it can be put to some other use - other than the dish maybe.
