Tata(Sky cheating us.
All castomers r badly looted by Tata(Sky.
Firstly if Tata(Sky add Ten Cricket then it gives us fre preview for 1 mth..
But Tata(Sky never gives it.
Its the worst DTH of India...:!!!!

I am on DishTV and pay an annual fee. I have often debated about swithcing DTH when it come to renewal.

TataSky is way too expensive and as said above does not offer some of the sports channels. On the other hand, it offers "BBC Entertainment" which I like.

Now Tata(Sky add Ten Cricket but Ten Action+ is missing.
Another sad news is Ten Cricket channels picture quality is very bad.

When dish tv gives in Basic packs.
When Ten Action comes in Tata(Sky!!!!

That is not the point. If someone wants to subscribe to a channel, it should be available as a choice.

I had this grouse against DishTV for long as they were not offering NEO channels (now they have done so).

You are wright on the part of choice hope they do add this channel as NEO has been added in Dish tv but being a fan of Indian cricket I like Tata Sky's move of providing India cricket irrespective of the channel it will be telecasted to its subscribers.

All in all I can say that every DTH provider is a crook.

I am not asking free services. But all providers are intelligently grouping the packages in such a way that we end up buying the total package.

Some may argue that a-la-carte is available but when the price of a-la-carte is added considering total choice for all age groups in the family (old folks: entertainment/soaps/religious feed, wives: soaps/movies, children: music/movies/kids, dad: news/english channels), there is really no option at all because a-la-carte costs becomes more than the package cost.

after using tata sky for so many years...i am now used to it being expensive and am ready to pay the price...but in spite of this I dont get Ten Action!! This sucks since every1 else gets it at lower prices!!

Now Uefa season has started...2 matches simultaneous.. and the better one is always aired on Ten action... ..i have to watch the other match on ten sports and wait for the repeat of the better 1...

I am a football fanatic...but i am having tata sky....the best solution for this is to take dishtv rather than the much expensive tata sky...comparing both i saw that just by giving 160 rs to dihtv we can have all the sports channels...the MAIN CHANNEL WE WANT IS TEN ACTION+...!!!! so thats cheaper when compared to tata sky...if we give 150 rs to tata sky we would only give 75-80 channels.......i mean what on earth are tata sky thinking about.....they are only damn expensive....
So the best answer for everything is to have Dish Tv rather than Tata sky....I am also waiting from the past 4-5 years...only for TEN ACTION+...but now my patience is over...now i can happily smile with DishTv

One year back I changed my dishtv to tatasky, the only reason I took is because I needed a recorder and I wanted one to get more control on planning my life.
I am not a big fan of sports which is expensive in tata sky I mostly only watch movies. I get all that I need under 200 RS today probably I would have saved a 50 Rs a month if would have stayed in dishtv.
Still I don't repent to switching mainly because of following reason -
1. I must have saved more than 100 hours of my time of forcefully seeing advertising if I would have watched one hour of TV daily.
2. If I would have waited DishTV to upgrade their technology I would have to feel sorrow.
3. I felt the interface of tata sky is more responsive and channels are bit clear.
4. Because of the recorder I can see movies when I want and pause it if I need to do something important at any point of time
5. Web console for subscriber is better and error free and customer service is much better.
One channel I am not seeing in tata sky is asianet plus which I use to get in dish tv. I hoping tatsky will add it in near future.
I seriously feel those guys have to upgrade their technology fast if they won’t obsolete their own technology their competitor will do it for them.

Yes it has been long but the way they added Ten Cricket hopefully they add Ten Action+ too as many have demanded for it.

That is the main reason i am switching over to a new DTH. Debating about Videocon D2H or DishTV. I'm missing La Liga, and Champions League. Will be switching right after world cup. Coz my room mates are cricket lovers and i hate cricket! If it was only me... i would have switched right now!!

Any source of this information??? If you say Customer Care.... Then think again. I got that news ways way back in October from them. And this is March.
