    I called Tata Sky Customer Care for a new connection and they provided me with various options i can choose from.I selected their Tata Sky HD service and they said that you can pay online through IVR service and the connection will be provided at your house within 24 hours.
    I was delighted that within 24 hours I would be viewing my favorite channels, but after i paid them the charges through IVRS - I confirmed when will the Tata Sky Engineer visit my place and they replied it sould be done in next 48 hours, which is unfair since they promised me 24 hours just 5 minutes back.

    I waited for 48 hours i.e. next 2 days but i did not get even a single confirmation call from them. After 48 hours i called their helpline number and they responded that it generally takes 72 hours and your connection will be done within next 2 days. then finally I got a call from their Engineer and we settled for a common time i.e. 11 AM in the morning next day since after that no one will be available at home till late in the night, on the next day on one turned up and in the evening i got a call that they can come at 6 pm which was not possible for me since i am in my office at that time.

    I requested them to positively come next morning at 10 AM or can also come at 8 in the evening when i will be available - but the engineer kept saying that the office opens at 10 am and closes at 7pm in the night - thus not possible for him to visit, I asked for 11 AM timings which he agreed upon, but the next day after waiting for no. of hours neither he turned up nor was there any call from him - I called Customer care again and they said that the engineer will turn up on the very next morning i.e. Friday definitely at 10 AM,and again there was no one who visited. In the evening i got a call that we will definitely come on saturday between 2 to 3 pm, and i got a call today i.e. saturday in the morning confirming that we will come to your place to set up connection between 2 to 3 pm and thus i cancelled my other plans to wait for them at home and get it done finally.

    It is around 4 pm and no one has yet come and i am forced to write this complaint against them..

    To those who are looking for Tata Sky , you can reconsider your decision and better go for other providers since this clearly provides a picture how they care about the customers and that too after i paid them promptly, it has been 7 days now i am waiting for the connection.

    Pathetic, Tata Sky!!!

    have visit to consumer forum

    Find details & throw letters to Division Manager, Country In Charge

    works dude it works!!

    Recent case is for pathetic service by Vodafone 3G in Mumbai, after one month of hick-ups company finally agreed for compensation with buyer. Matter had been Popular on FB
    many turned up in that act

    see customer care has lot of limitation, they have certain set of instruction & their knowledge is limited, they can not help u after certain limit as they are bound to do so, each & every conversation get recorded so no use blaming them
    no use only u will waste energy,

    find their Superintend, Managers

    I concur with shridipamswap. Also, Tata Sky has its handle on twitter (@TataSky) which is responsive to queries and grievance. I generally tweeted on Tata Sky's remote not functioning and they got back to me within no time, they also arranged to send a new one. Social platforms are very helpful and Co's are making it a point to be active on such platforms to provide & maintain direct contact with customers.

    I have had very good experience with TataSky service.Have been a subscriber from 2006.Sometime back there was a shortage of HD boxes.Maybe that explains your problem.I got a free HD box along with my LG HD TV.It was instaled after one month due to this shortage.
