Thread: Signal Issues

Hello, I am from Indore...
I want to buy the TATA Sky DTH, but i am unsure wether my house does have a line of sight with the satellite. The reason being my house is single storied n amidst some tall buildings on almost all sides. I want to enquire if there is any way or any person who can check for the availability of signal and strength since without that there would be nou use of taking a DTH service.

Secondly i want to enquire that wether there is still some lags between audio & video, since i have seen that in the early days of DTH service in India.

Third what is the best plans available on TATA Sky since i could see the 380/- plan is the most efficient and although a costs a little more but economical.

I contacted TataSky.They said that if there was no signal,they would give you a full refund.However,I suggest you confirm this with the dealer you buy the STB from.I have not notices any audio/video lag on a regular basis.I personally have taken the annual mega pack since I will not have to pay for any channels that get added on,including HD channels. The flip side is I am married to TataSky for a year!

I had once done that, trying to contact the Co. but they said until and unless they don't have an confirmation/intimation of the connection they cannot come and check the quality of the signal.
