    Default Lag in Cricket Matches.

Because of satellite transmission there is a lag between live and that we see on TATA sky. This I noticed when my friend called me up and he was also watching TV through this cable connection. There was a lag of 2 balls in a cricket match.

Thats interesting.. 2 balls I would say at least 2 mins but I guess that doesnt make too much of a difference when you are getting better quality picture and know that if there is a power cut your transmission will not stop and if you have your own power back up you can still watch the match on tata sky

Yes but its a drawback if you are gambling on cricket or anything. But yes to normal viewers its not a problem. And I too checked there is a lag of approximately 90 seconds.

Actually, I have experienced such difference in time lag or something like that. I have both the cable and tata sky in my house, i didn't notice it before. I used to watch cricket on both tata sky and cable. It could be perhaps the difference is not so much that i would have not noticed it. From now, i will check it correctly and see whether it is indeed true or not.
