Hi friends,

Tata sky has a number of options to have enough space on transponders and add some new channels...

They can remove that boring help channel.
They can reduce the number of showcase channels.
They can remove the boring active newsroom, which I think is useless.

Why dont they do that???

I find that Astha channel pretty boring but my friends grandmother only watches that channel and she watches it all day long.

There should be some of the music channels. They are a great choice of youth.

I think they should also give some of the radio channels, like radio mirchi, big fm, etc...

Its good if they ignore least viewed channels, instead they add more attractive onec.

I love to watch Astha channel because it portrays Indian culture in asthetic way.
So admin, which channels do u like??
It hurts me sometimes when someone tells me I like to watch FTV.

Ftv is not good for children...

I think it should be removed.

No one watches it.

Has anyone seen DISHTV's new PROMO of 60 minutes which is currently being shown on 999 channel of DISHTV???

In that ad, TZP fame Darsheel Safari's mother(in film) TISCA CHOPRA reveals that she and her husband watches FTV (But for different reason)

So dont u think guyz, its making an impact on children, what a child will think??
"So my daddy/mummy watches FTV so why I shouldn't??"

My experience has been - the more you try to suppress the more it bounces back at you. My son does not even go to FTV and I have not told him anything.

I normally watch news channels> bbc, cnn, ndtv or cnnibn some times Other then tht I like to watch travel&living, discovery and history channel and may be a movie on hbo if there is a good one on.

Proft tv is the one which I watch on a daily basis.. not that I like the quality of their content but its a compulsion to watch it to keep track of the market.

So we diverted from TATA SKY to DISH TV from Aastha to FTV,
@Daddy, modern children r smarter than us, dont get astonished if u came to know that someone has put a lock code on FTV channel, and its asking for password when u r @ peak of ur emotions.

This is turning into a MASALA BOARD, its better we stop here!

We are having a healthy debate on good channels and bad channels.

Lets talk about BABA RAAMDEV's Yoga show on ASTHA!
Best way to start ur day! But what bugs me a lot is reviews of people attending Yoga Seminar.

How u can improve ur haemoglobin in short span of 3 days??

Now a U turn i the debate has come about.

There is a great news for all of us.

Yesterday I found that Tata Sky has has changed the avtive newsroom.

Now there is no fur screen window. There is only the listing of those channels.

Also the procedure of viewing NDTV metronation.

Just go to NDTV 24X7 an press RED button.

I think it is a very good news.

They may add new channels. I think they are trying to free the space on transponders.

Its very nice because this thread was started only on this matter.

First they removed sales promo channel. Then they removed AIR jhalandhar and now its Active Newsroom.

So have fun!!!

Well anything can happen, and yoga has proven to have helped many people suffering from many different problems, and the way things change in the bosy depends on a persons body.

may be you don't watch it but there are lot many people who are regular viewers of this channel, i got lot many friends who are designers and watch this channel and i never found anything wrong in this channel its all about how you take things. Its just showing the latest trend and stuff which may not be very common in our community but ok for other countries and cities like Paris, New York and Milan

Every channel has its own audience..you may like something which others may not and vice versa. similarly all dth players have to consider all their customers. tata sky is having aastha or active channels because people watch it. No one is interested in making loss and showing a channel. this is what my opinion is..
