    Default Recording Tata Sky Programs

    Dear Friends,

    I am using Tata Sky from the last one year..!!! I have recently got an Sony High Component System and i need to record programs played on Tata Sky to a DVD which is writable in the Sony High component System...

    My friends how can i go about...

    I looked at the specs of the system. It does not say anywhere that it can record video. I do not think that you can record TV programs (or any video) with this system.

    I have TV/SAT option in my Sony System and I can playback/format the DVD-RW and CD-RW.. I just need to know how can i record programs whatever is running on the TV..

    You need a DVR device for the same. DVRs can record (unencrypted) video from the source (TV, VCR (non Macrovision tape), DVD (region free and non CCE disk), etc.). Recording is often done on a hard disk inside the DVR. Some DVRs come equipped with DVD writer and then you have an option to write the recorded video to DVD.

    you can get this DVR (Digital Video Recorder) attachment from any good computer store for just (local) 1200-1500 rupees and (branded) 2000-2500 rupees

    and if you need complete DVR then it will cost you about 9000 which you can use with Tata Sky there are lot many good models by Onida.

    very easy
    place ur webcam infront of the tv, then record and burn whatever, whenever, wherever u wish to

    LOL
