HI,

would like to know either AlJazeera English news channel air at TATA SKY ?
Or in near future is there is any plan to air this channel along with other Int English news channel ?

( Since time being the AlJazeera covers a brief at Asian and International news reports without any political influence and its really an Unbiased channel compare to many western channels, which are highly influenced with there govt policies and act as govt mouthorgan )

Till now i really don't have any update like this and i really don't think will get this channel like this

Tata Sky doesn't air that channel and so far haven't heard anything about them launching it, but it you could try giving Tata Sky a call to find out it may be that they haven't announced it or that it may be launched but they have no date yet.

Tata or any other DTH provider (or even cable for that matter) cannot broadcast any channel. The channel has to get a clearance from the Govt. of India.

There are probably hundreds of channels that are available in the air - many are likely to be FTA. That does not mean all of them can be broadcasted in a country.

Government of India will never let any broadcasting company air AlJazeera English.

This channel you are talking about is not an unbaised channel as you claim ... its a channel which glamourises terrorism and helps them spread their propoganda..

If the government of India ever allow this channel people will vote that government out... although I dont see that channel being aired here in India in my life time atleast.

By the way your IP shows you are using QTEL in Qatar... why does it bother you if this channel is not aired in India?

In my opinion Al-Jazeera English is a mouthpiece for terrorists.

As per best of my knowledge this is the same channel which broadcasted all video tapes of osama. It was actually a medium or messenger for osama to send his messages and warnings to US and World.

Main problem in India is:
Whenever we manager to arrest any terrorists we provide them VIP treatment in hospital first, then like to keep them in 5 star jail (sarkari damaad)to kill time and money of our country. I am scared that Indian Govt. don't like to hang anyone at all.

Ya right now I am in Qatar, I keeps on traveling with Job aspects and I can say, what ever we get the picture at abroad on International issues that we never see in India !

Further with your claim Indian Govt clearance ! why I ask this question as I leaned Dish TV has included this channel with some special category ! and back at home I Have TATA sky , and TATA sky thy don’t have contact details or Email, and we can not ask this sort of Question to Helpline !

About your Opinion for that channel its fine, you have right to express it, I have different angle. as I said, this channel covers the Asian news in brief as being we are traveling in Middle-east and fast east this help us to keeps update about the reign.
