Rep Power: 12 | I would like to know if there is a way to get rid of this tata wimax login page and make it always on without having to login manually every time? Its a pain to login every time and some times it does take a min or so to load initially. Any leads on how to do it? Or if you have already done this please share with all of us. |

| Aditya | i have already tried to make DUN connection for same but it is not helping at all, even i am looking for a dialer or something which can help coz it is very annoying to open IE everytime to login and to keep that shitty window open all the time I had a word with Tata for same and even they do not have any option to connect and have already tried tata indicom broadband dialer to connect but that is also not helping in this case |

Rep Power: 2 | Yeah, there is an option to remove the login page, and get ur connection as "Always connected". I wanted to route the TATA wimax connection through my Netgear wireless router, so i had to remove the login page. Login page removal took just 1 day. They also provided me with a static IP and NATing was also enabled on the same request. |

| Hey Admin, u can do one thing for not to wait long for login page to open. Just open the the login page and put it on favourites and from ther copy it to the desktop as shortcut. So, whenever you will boot ur machine just click on this shortcut it will put u directly to the login page. But, u won't be able to be online always by this and I suggest always online is not a good idea. Last edited by nr.ash; 01-06-09 at 09:05 PM. |

| Put the Login page in "favourites' and then copy it as desktop shortcut and whenever u will click on it will redirect u to the login page and it won't take long time. ![]() If U want to speed up ur internet speed...... To speed up the Internet connection speed we need to configure a special buffer in the computer's memory in order to enable it to better deal with interrupts made from the NIC (Network Interface cards) or LAN Card: (This tip is only recommended if you have 256MB RAM or higher.) STEP#1:Identify the IRQ used by the NIC/USB modem Follow these steps: Open the System Information tool by running MSINFO32.EXE from the Run command. Expand System Summary > Hardware Resources > IRQs. Look for the listing made for your NIC (in my case - Realtek 81xxx Ethernet NIC+ Management Adapter). Note the IRQ next to the specified line (in my case - IRQ21). Step #2 : Modify the system.ini file Follow these steps: Run SYSEDIT.EXE from the Run command. Expand the system.ini file window. Scroll down almost to the end of the file till you find a line called [386enh]. Press Enter to make one blank line, and in that line type IrqX=4096 where X is the designated IRQ number we found in step #1, in my case it's IRQ21. Click on the File menu, then choose Save. Close SYSEDIT and reboot your computer. Done. Speed improvement will be noticed after the computer reboots. Last edited by nr.ash; 01-06-09 at 05:42 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

Rep Power: 0 | 1. Call the Tech Support no and ask them to give u a Static IP 2. Ask them to "Bypass the login page" (Can only be done with a Static IP) Then the moment you boot your system ur online no authentication bullshit.. Thats how i am currently setup.. POE box to my Linksys router.. and amm ny Laptops in the network work just fine. Cheers, Nik |
