Thread: Help in TatWimax connection

Hi,
I have installed TatWimax(256kbps infinity),5 days back.I am currently getting my Local Area Connection icon in left hand side of Systembar getting connected and disconnected.Also download speed is around 20kbps and i am expecting atleast 25.Also torrent download never working smooth.5 kbps max .

Tried portward site and tried some random ports and dint worked for torrents.Is this some problem with Static Ip's ?Please suggest.i dint understood what shud be exactly done in case port is not opened ?

I have Tata Wimax connection at home and it is working fine for me, it should not behave strange with static IP and as you said that your local area connection icon keeps on saying connected and disconnected so can you please explain is it saying like local area connection Network Cable is Unplugged or what :confused1:

Please check physical cables and your PoE that if everything is connected properly or not

Yeah my connection happens like getting connected and disconnected frequently as if like somebody plugging and unplugging my lan cable (Seems to be funny even though)I have checked the wires and antenna,Everything is perfectly fine and its a brand new installation.

Due to less signal strength can this happen ? When i connect to 192.168.1.1 and check the antenna strength its varying b/w 17-20.(Its not steady).

After a call @ customer call center ,i got my static IP .But the above problem remains unsolved.Also for your connection is the download rate steady all thru 24 hours .Mine is pathetic... In morning almost 5-10 KB/s.While in nite its around 20KB/s.
