Thread: HELP-how to share Tata Indicom WiMAX Broadband

If any body know how to share Tata Indicom WiMAX Broadband connection (pre paid with dynamic IP, POE, login require) without making client server, either using switch, HUB,Router (if using router,specify model no. too ) then Please share with me...Thanks

I use wgr614 v7 netgear and it works fine.

R u using this router with dynamic ip? I know if tata indicom provided u specially a static ip to enter in ur network configuration,it will definitely work fine but i m prepaid user with dynamic ip(automatically assigned by tata,I nothing do anything beside login).Pls inform me what is ur situation? Using static or dynamic ip?

Could you please provide detailed steps.

I have two laptops and a D-Link switch (planning to buy a wireless router)
I don't have dynamic IP (Prepaid connection which requires login).

I am a prepaid customer as well with a 512kbps speed connection and get a dynamic ip.

Router's been working just fine.

dude
go to any local shop buy a lan cable upto require length

attach cable to ports

on the computer having internet conection , go to the network connections
by typing ncpa.cpl in RUN , right click ,properties,go to sharing
allow sharing

the other computer connected will have internet as soon as you reset it's hardware for new automatic IP
speed wold be mostly shared between:huh:
