Rep Power: 0  |  tata wimax (kind of help please) hi everybody  im new in here ,almost read all of the threats  sounds toooo helpfulllllanyways im live in bangalore (jnagar 2nd block) , what i hav is 512 tata wimax believe or not im really satisfied with that my download transfer rate is *avrage* 71kb/s (65<>75) mine is prepaid one nd there is no 1mbps package available!! so i was thinking to migrate  my plan to postpaid 1mbps ...do u think its worthy ?? 2500 per month !?? will the the download speed satisfy me? by the way some thing is wrong with my current wimax connection ! each 5,6 hrs it gets log out nd i have to log in again nd again ...it sounds too bad bcz i cant leave my pc downloadin for more than 5 hrs  anyway i called them ,,they told me i need static ip to solve this problem ..is this the solution???!  plz help me with this |

Rep Power: 12 |  I have a prepaid 512kbps tata wimax connection as well and I called them up a few days ago to get the 1mbps post paid connection but the customer care guy said thats not possible and I would have to get a new connection if I were to take a 1mbps post paid connection and get rid of the current one. Worth or not... well really depends on what you do with your connection... if increase in speed gets you more productivity or saves time and makes more money for you then go for it.. all in all its for you to decide if that much speed is worth Rs2500 to you or not  I will get a post paid connection in Jan with a 1mbps speed as this month is already renewed with this prepaid thing. |

Rep Power: 1 | Wimax is in developing stage in India. Why do we choose Wimax? No coverage boundary, quick service. Why we hate it? Downtime.. limited connectivity.. But these all can be take care of..I was a user of Reliance Wimax then Tata Wimax (512 UL Postpaid). Your concerns... 2500 per month (50 $) ... very competivite.. compare global market! Log out issue - Call Tata helpdesk and get a static IP (20 minutes of total time for me), superb browsing experience. No login screen.. (Airtel experience, better download speed) Guys, Its easy to find flaws in service industry in India, but lets give it sometime.. we will be having cheap and best! Let me know if it helps you! |
