Thread: Delay in connecting to Internet.

Hi Admin,

Please help me out with this issue, i have a Tata Wimax connection of 384kbps and everything goes well after it gets the connection from the base station, but then the most challenging part is to get it connected initially. When i first start my system and switch on the POE it nearly takes 15min to get started and at times it wont even connect for hours after i start up. It is just pissing me off and i am losing my faith on Tata. Plzzzzz help me to solve this initial connection issue with the Wimax.

have u complained. get them to test with another POE.
the problem could also possibly be at your local sevice provider server end. it is not authenticating your connection immediately.

call the customre care and tell them about yr issues, as the the connection should not take 2-3 minutes to establish. I use reliance wimax , it gets connected within minutes. Let me know if the problem persit , we shall be more thna happy to help

Keep the poe always on, coz when it starts up it takes a lot of time and u do not get the login page quickly. any time u get the login page u save its address and bookmark it and whenever u need to connect 2 the net u can enter that address in ur browser. hope i hav helped u.
