Thread: How to share a connetion for two computers..pls help.

Hi All,

I have a computer and a laptop. I bought a hub yesterday. I want to share the internet between these two. The hub has six ports(including the up link port).I have plugged in the cable coming from antenna into the uplink port on the hub. The hub has other 5 ports. So, with two cables i have used port 1 and port 2 to connect to desktop and laptop respectively. They are getting static IP. But they are not connecting to the Internet. When I remove it from the hub and use the one which is provided by TATA and use one system the net is coming properly. Please help how to share the net with steps. I have seen other posts but could not make it. TIA...
