Thread: Replacement of DSL with Wimax

Dear all

I got a call from tata Indicom Broadband that they are stopping the DSL service and replacing with WIMAX. IS the option good or should I discontinue the service and take Airtel? I have heard that the speed etc is lousy and the Antenna a perrenial problem

If the distance isint too much then it shouldnt be an issue ... The tower I am connected to is hardly 300 metres from my place so my connection has no issues except that I hate their customer service staff's attitude.

I would still suggest that if you have Airtel available then go with them as thats the best broadband provider I have known in India so far

There could be an issue with port forwarding.
