Most Linksys routers/WAPs have same look and feel UI. For all your queries, please read the many guides posted in the Broadband How to section.

Check the first link in my signature.

Not trying to be rude or high & mighty. But a sincere request:

    a) Please do try to search the forum.
    b) I gave the link of the "How to" Section. Search within that.
    c) My signature link contains the links to guides. I put it there so that people can access them quickly.
    d) The "How to" section also contains a sticky post that contains the links.

Please read the guides and if you then have specific questions, you can either post them in this thread or in the guide thread.

Yes. It should. You must do the following:

    a) Connect the wimax router out to Linksys router
    b) Enable DHCP in both router
    c) change Lan IP address of Linksys to a different subnet.

Try it. If there are problems, give a shout.

Thumbs down not able to configure

I have a Tata Wimax connection which has a dynamic IP and i need to login on a web dialer to connect to internet. i dont have a modem. All i got was a LAN wire which i connect to my laptop ethernet port to connect to the internet.
The router which Tata Indicom gives us (PowerDSine 3001), which is manufactured by a company called "Telsima". This has a power in and network in and lan out which I connect to the ethernet port. The network in comes from an external wall mounted wireless reciever.

    The circuit is as follows:

Wireless reciever - PowerDsine 30001 - laptop ethernet port - internet.

Recently i bought a LINKSYS Wifi router ( WRH54G ). I followed the steps mentioned here.

now when I followed the procedure, the circuit looks like

Wireless reciever - PowerDsine 30001 - linksys router . I am able to connect to the wireless network I setup, signal strngth is excellent but the access shows : Local only and not local and internet. I am not able to connect to internet.
The wifi access point is set and i am able to connect to it but the assess is “LOCAL ONLY” and i am not able to connect to the internet. OS: vista home premium , I tried connecting to the network using my IPHONE but the same problem persists. I get connected to the network but am not able to connect to the internet.
    Pls help me set-up .

PS: i have tried everything in every how to post but am not able to configure this.
