Thread: Speed is way low as compared to my 2mbps plan

Hi all,
Since 1 week i have been noticing that my speed has decresed from 2mbps to 0.13mbps (earlier i used to get 220 kb/sec and now only 12 to 15kb/sec) . At 1st i thought that may be there is a bandwith problem but the speed is same 24hrs a day even in midnight 2 am , which i dont think that there is a bandwith problem. i have tried 2 more ids but they all give me the same speed 12 to 15 kb/sec. I cant figure out where the problem is. Even the signal strength is near about 27 which is great. Even i tired rebooting and restoring default factory settings but no luck .. Please help me.my router is telismawl

is FUP applicable in u r plan ?

Hi,
There are a no. of reasons possible for this:

1- It is just broadband so live with it.

2- The antennae has got moved out of line of sight or got damaged

3- The tower might have some problem or maintenance work going on

4- A new building has come up in the line of sight(that sucks!)

5- The modem might need a firmware upgrade

Well there are more..but these make sense..:-)
