Rep Power: 0  |  PPPoE using LAN/ETHERNET Hey Guys, our building has Wimax, but that's then routed through some Switch and all that arrives at my appartment is an ethernet cable. Then I have to log in using PPPoE on my computer. However, I want to use a Wifi router, obviously - and currently have a Linksys. Problem: The Wifi router does not log in over PPPoE through the ETHERNET port. It can only dial in over the WAN (Line/DSL) port - which is not applicable here, since they just give me a LAN cable. Anyone knows which Router (wifi or with wires, I don't care) works well in this case? |
