Thread: Tata Wimax + Static IP + Login Page ... Whats the deal?

Just made the payment for an Infinity 750 post-paid Tata Wimax connection.

My question is, what is the deal with static IP and login page? I am getting a static IP with my connection. So does that mean that I will not have to see that stupid little login page? Will my connection be a true always-on connection that just needs to be switched on to start browsing instead of having to open a web-page to login?

With static ip, you will have option to get the login page removed and get a true always on connection. But u need to tell the installation guy that u dont want the login page, so that he can ask his backend guys to configure it accordingly

as per my knowledge static IP is ur invidiual fr tht connection n u it has its allocated bandwidth which gives you better speeds n connectivity.

dats not true, even a dynamic con has a dedicated bandwidth, only thing is depending on the signal strength, if the CINR is below 18, no matter if ur connection is static or dynamic, speeds will vary.....
