    Default Tata indicom broadband customer service says there is a undersea cable cut

    Since Sunday evening , download speed on Wimax has become very very slow

    On Speedtest using servers in US , speeds showup as 100 kbps or less (mine is powerflash 384kbps plan) but using servers in India it looks ok

    Contacted the Customer Care and got reply that there's been a undersea cable cut which is causing the problems

    Is anyone else facing the same issue?

    I am getting very low speeds and lost packets as well. Download speed is 100-120kbps only and upload is a bit more then that.

    I am on Tata wimax power flash 750.

    This is due to an under sea cable being repaired in Italy and will be completed by the 30th of Aipril so till then we will get lower speeds for servers located in Europe and North America.. Sites hosted in Asia are still flying.

    Torrents should not suffer if you get a lot of peers in our part of the world... you should be getting decent speed.

    Same for me.The page access and loading speed is very slow.ANd the ping rate using pingtest.net is showing Grade-5 .Any one is here who know well about tata wimax?

    The Indicom guys imply that the problem still persisits and it will be solved with in 48 hrs.

    Some of the tata executives came to me to solve the problem ,checked it and left with out solving the problem implying that the problem is from their server end and it will be rectified shorlty. But I don't know what that guy do with my broadband connectivity .Earlier pingtesting tool pingtest.net used to show the ping rate as "F grade. But now it shows some Error message.
