Default How to port forward on Netgear WGR614v9 & tata wimax

I am using a Tata Indicom Wimax Broadband 1.5 mbps connection. Its a dynamic ip connection.I use a Netgear WGR614v9 with the tata connection.I have noticed that i m getting a 'Connectable:No' status on every private torrent trackers. On doing some research i found that i need to forward port of utorrent through the router page.

On typing 'ipconfig' all this is what i get for wireless connection

    Ipv4 10.0.0.2
    Subnet 255.255.255.0
    Gateway 10.0.0.1

Can anybody help me in forwarding port for 'utorrent'?

1.Please give details how you have connected WIMAX unit/Wifi router to your system.
2.Presume you have to connect the WIMAX unit to your USB port.
    to get connected to internet.
    3.
If you are on Dialer mode no Port forwarding needed.
    4.
WGR614V9: check in portforward.com for details
    after 96 hits.

ok i m extremely sorry for replying so late to u essbebe.i thought nobody is goin to post replies in this thread.

Now with the connection. There is a wimax unit on my terrace.theres is a yellow cable which originates from that unit leading to a telenet box in my room.there is another wire which comes out of the telenet box which needs to go into the rj45 port of the computer that has to be connected. Now since i m using a router,i have put that wire in the back of the netgear WGR614V9 router. This is the physical connection part.

Now since i was not able to configure the router to use with my connection as it has the weblogin interface,i had to call up a local guy to do the settings.Unfortunately i was not there during the time he did the configuration. But in the end he did it and saved the config file of the router to my hard disk so that i could use it any time if i reset the router.

Now the problem i am having here is that, the guy who did the router configurations supposedly changed the ip assigned to the router from 192.168.1.1 to 10.0.0.1(i dunno the reason) and also the router id and password.so presently i cannot access the router page.

Also i did not reset the router thinking even though i have the config file,as i think after restoring the file it will restore all the settings including the password the router which he put which i dont posses.Correct me if i m wrong.

The unit Tata has supplied you for WImAX , may have some name/model/number/ ( placed in your room ).
    Give details.
the access address will be 10.0.0.1 try admin admin.
    2.
I feel you are using Netgear as a hub or switch.
can you access the menu pages of Netgear WIFrouter ?
what is the Ip address you use ?
i thought nobody is goin to post replies in this thread.
I am a learner here, and waited for response from other users of WIMAX of Ttata indicom.
Every setup/ unit is different and without details difficult to respond with an immediate solution. Basic idea is same .
    3.
For Instance in Reliance WIMAX forum, there is discussion about using the connection for multiple systems ( laptops in wifi etc ) .
I think Port forwarding was not discussed.

    4..
If you find no response, ask me to include you as a friend, and then send Private message to me giving details of the thread.
    I will try to respond.
