can anybody help regarding the configuration of linksys router wit tata wimax

It is very simple

You just need to set the IP as static in the router config page and enter the IP address given by TATA wimax. Setup the security in the router and you are ready to go

as u said, i configured the linksys router.......1st connected from tata wimax router to linksys,configured linksys wit IP 192.168.1.10.......n then tapped out the output of linksys to my 24 port switch........now my prob is,
if i start usin both my laptop n desktop i get the following error mesgs
IN DESKTOP:IP CONFLICT
IN LAPTOP:LIMITED OR NO CONNECTIVITY(WHEN TRYING TO CONNECT through WI FI)

give a different ip address to the router like 10.0.0.1 since the gateway address of Tata Wimax must must be 192.168.1.1

to avoid this prob i hv changed it to 192.168.1.10..........my prob is if i do wired conections it works both in laptop n desktop......
but if i try to connect laptop through wi fi i get the above mentioned errors..........

i can tell what i did
1) get a static ip
2) Get natting enabled from the ISP
3) give a different ip address to router than 192.168.1.1 for administration.
4) thats it i have configured my ADSL router in a bridged mode

it works my desktop as well as my laptop with wifi

thanks for all for making my wifi work......I changed the starting IP for DHCP users....it worked....
