Dear Indiabroadband Members,

Almost every other day, I get a PM requesting my help in setting up of a modem/router for use with a particular ISP. I get tired of even replying that look here, look there, here is the thread, here are settings, etc.

Most of these requests are from new members. To all such requests, please accept my sincere apologies as I cannot reply to all. I will not even reply to such PMs or forum messages however much the dire need. The task is too cumbersome and humungous.

Please do the following:

a) The first place to look for is in Broadband How to section. There are enough articles there to help you understand BB concepts.

b) There are a few guides there that can help. This may not be for your modem or even if the modem is same your interface may be different. But you can use these guides as a reference and using your own user manual, I am sure that you can configure your own modem.

c) I shall recommend all newbies to go thru the following in the exact orrder:

d) Finally, please use forum search. If that does not help use Google search. 90% of the time a Google search result points to our web site article.

Also, please read the forum rules in the FAQ page.

Many members have reported download issues, i.e., zip file does not open after download. This is not a problem from this site. I can suggest that you turn off download managers and check.
