Tikona has been launched in Mumbai for more then 2-3 months now and they have also set something up in Delhi but they are not advertising it yet probably coz they are getting enough customers already.

Tikona digital networks is the name of the company and was set up about a year ago. I have been to their office building at Mumbai and to be honest I envy the people who work there... Thats one building where you enter and say wow the vibe is all happy shappy and positive all over the place... smiling happy staff good interiors and what not.

Tikona digital networks was started by Mr Prakash Bajaj and Mr Tiwari of Mtnl fame with funding from Goldman sach and a couple of other companies.

Tikona is using unliscenced frequencies and has a pan India license with plans to launch in 110 cities across India very soon.

We shall soon have a seperate sub forum dedicated to Tikona although I am very positive on the fact that they will have the happiest customers with hardly any complaints

If youve got a problem with some post please report it instead of shooting some one in the head like you just did... I dont see any sms language and even if there was you cant just go around policing other members.

Thanks for your cooperation that would follow after reading this remark.

As far as I know Pune is on their priority list.
The beauty of their network is that they get everything ready within days all wireless.

I have been waiting, waiting and waiting all time but no new service is coming out in delhi. I am a trader and I need at least 2 mbps speed and 4 mbps speed is ideal for me but it seems that it will take them a couple of years more to launch it in delhi. :52:

    Default in pune???

i am a pune resident....i got their signals 30 days back.,.,i even contacted them on high priority bases ,,,,till today they haven't given me the connection,,,i call the call center center every day and they give me hopeless assurance of getting back to me.
finally yesterday they tell me to mail and again there is no get back from their side..

i really wonder if they want people to use their service??
it seems they don't have offices in pune...then how are we supposed to pay the bill??
    how are they doing marketing?
it seem like a pathetic company,,lets see the service first to confirm the same,

if anyone is from pune then please give their contact details...

    Thank you
    regards
    v

Default tikona services yet to get matured

    Dear All,

The services offered in mumbai by tikona is at preliminary level. Tikona is yet to get mature, the unskilled staff, no committment related to the installation, poor download speed are some of the problems I have faced.

    Regards,
    Rajesh D

    Thumbs up

i am using tikona and though it is at preliminary levels, the service quality n download speed is much above the other companies.
And the major advantage with this company is that there is no wiring required inside homes and installation gets completed in couple of days

Angry Tikona ko kona me rakhna, use mat karna

my sincere advice, pl. don't take tikona. They really harass you. The services are bad, it hardly worked for one or two days, technical team visited, they could not do anything, then super technical team, they call it ATS visited, nothing was done and they visited more than 10 time but could not connect. Finally I have to say NO to them and ask them to disconnect. To my surprise after few days I received a monthly bill which is showing that the services are still continuing and i have to pay some Rs 779./-.

I thought they have to return my Rs 500/- which they took at the time of installation, but this is loot, I have not used their services instead of returning my money they are asking for more.

Shameless people, I don't think they can sustain for long in this business. Their technical team as well as customer services are bad.

Question here is not only money, but you feel cheated also.

in my area tikona is working fine. i think its good service which i am getting. whenever i asked for engg visit for any prblem i get good response from their service team. i am using since 2 month and only twice my net was disconnected due to some antenna prblm(they call it as access point) but after 2 days it worked fine. before tikona i was using local net i was not happy with service.
i think tikona is new company in mumbai and their initial phase of working is good.

Its funny that you do not even bother to mention what area you are present in. I think you are a Tikona person bullshitting us.
