Default my Tikona Review

hiya folks, i'm back again, previously i was on sify. i didn't have very good experience with them or their customer care, so i switched to tikona wi bro, i liked the design of their router, two men came to my house and istalled it,actually i was supposed to get a speed 1.5 mbps for first 15 days, since i registered with them for the first time, my package is ful599, in this package i should get a speed of 300kbps or 37.5 KB, in the first 15 i only got 30KB(i thought to myself so what if i'm not getting 1.5mbps atleast i'm getting 30KB), after 15 days i started experiecing slow speed, the speed was around 5-9KB and it was staying there. when i first experienced slow speed i emailed their customer care, but i didn't get any response from their customere care, i thought it would pick up in a day, but the slow speed problem persisted 3-4 days and i decided to call their customer care. let me make this clear that they have a very abusive customer care. they try fool you by asking you stupid questions and giving unreal fabricated reason to make it seem that the cause of the problem is at your end. i'm sending a legal notice to them, i'll update the post when i get their responce. users with less experience with computers, please beware!

Default Will be getting a new connection soon

I have asked for a demo on saturday, will see demo and get the 300kbps UL plan.
Will let you know what my experience is with them.
I asked for a week of trial, but they are refusing to give that.
Looks like I will have to shell out the first one month + 500 rs installation

thanks for your reply binoj, dont forgetto take the client and installer, remember you'll get 1.5 mbps for fisrt 15 days when you register with them

they did not give me the client or the installer.
Downloaded the dialer from their website.
You are right the customer care does try to confuse you. Now they have flatly told me that Windows 7 (mine is x64 Professional) is not supported, duh, thats it..
Now I have to connect using the cat5 cable, what a drag.
Looking for alternatives (to the dialer).
Download speed varies from 15k to 30k, rarely above
Whats ur status now?

why dont you just record your conversation when they say you will get this much speed. & then when you get low speed, just screen record the speed you get with fraps everyday and in last if you get low speed & no customer response simply dont pay your bills!!!!

they cant do anything, when you show them recording and the proof. what say!

same here binoj(50% of the time it could go below 15KB, till 5-9KB)
