i want to access it to use it as a wifi hotspot to connect my psp and mobile.

In 2211 that was supplied to me, Wifi broadcast was disabled. so i believe signals that i was getting was from the Tikona AP (in my adjoining building).
So, i am not sure but i think that you cannot use 2211 as router for the time being till its not cracked(hacked).

further somewhere i have written that tikona is working on dialer software for mobile devices to connect.
as of PSP, i am not sure....
Call tikona cc, probably they can help

PS: change your ip last segment, as tikona people are also seeing this, and also, they may take steps for the ip... Just be cautious

Why? Did they say you cannot make any changes in the unit supplied by them ?
Worst case scenerio, you are disconnected: They will loose more customers !, if they read these threads here.

mm2211 support remote login and even remote programming.
if they see ip, i dont say they disconnect, they are not idiots
they will take steps concerning to their network security

no network allows utilization of resources (even no cost to them) beyond their terms......

I am also using Tikona wibro with 300kbps plan.. i too tried to hack the ruckus mm2211 receiver.. i found the details to login but im unable to do that bcoz this device been modified as per the ISP (Tikona) and they made that too work only with their signals.. we need sme one to crak or hack that device....

I hav the following details of this mm2211 but it didnt worked for me. if some one can follow and get it success pls post here.

The default IP address of MM2211 is 192.168.1.1. The default user name
is ‘admin’. The default password is ‘password’. The default mode for
MM2211 is route mode. Should the MM2211 be in bridge mode, the
default IP address will be 192.168.0.254,

The route mode supports of multiple devices connected behind the
MM2211. The bridge mode allows only one device to be connected
behind the MM2211. Most Metro ISP allows multiple devices connected
behind the MM2211. In route mode, the MM2211 will act as the DHCP
server to the devices connected behind the MM2211 as well as perform
NAT (Network Address Translation). In bridge mode, the PC’s connected
behind the MM2211 generally should be set to obtain IP address
automatically, and the DHCP request will be forwarded by the MM2211
to the DHCP server in the Metro ISP provider.

Check the user manuals.
i read elsewhere, that you have to access the unit's settings as Super Administrator
in a forum ( Tikona might have changed the Password )

I can tell you how to find the ip of your router, however still have no clue of the login details.

Tikona router generally has class-A private ip i.i 10.x.x.x

To find the exact one download discovery tool from ubnt website.
"www . ubnt . com / downloads / discovery / ubnt-discovery_v2.2.1.zip"

If you get any clue of the login details please let me know.

difficulty is access ID PW changed by Tikona mostly.
Reset may not work.
You cannot access modem settings to make any changes.

Yes U can acces the router page The ip is 192.168.1.120 and the username is ubnt and pwd is ubnt

This information is correct. the nano station IP starts from 10.x.x.x
and it asks for user name and password which is still unknown at this point.

I have tried many user id and password combinations but none of them worked.

guys i opened mm2211's login page...if anybody knows the exact use id, password of the login page pls inform me...

If you have read the thread fully, it will be clear , that you cannot change any settings in the tikona modem.
What ever you want to do check with tikona CC.

Guys, Tikona has the worst services for Broadband & Customer care is more worst department, & the most efficient department is Accounts Deptt, which keeps u calling for payment.
My User ID 1102196404, made a complaint on 30/11/10 in the morning that my PC was re-formatted & now want to get IP setings so I can start using the Net service, they said your complaint has been registered & within 6 hours u will get sms from us stating Complaint No. & one of our engineer will call U & will do the needful to solve your problems.
I wiated for 6 hours & again called 18002094276 then they gave me complaint no. 1-1469722958 person spoke to me Mr. Bapu, again no result then i called them again @ 6.00 p.m. but still no result.
Why do we need to call them again & again & we get no solution from them.

I do not about ruckus because I had not it. I had UBNT nano loco 2. In that, there is no authority given to customer to edit/ config settings. Even field engineers cannot config. He has to call to his office. His boss does setting from office and tikona sends engineer for getting perfect focusing..


UBNT made its loco2 such that customer can not do from their end. Configuration is just made from ISP end.

hey whatever u do u hack into device provided from tikona they had changed their id and password from default


even thought u try to reset it it will not and once it will catch tikona network only

their was a time when we can access the router by using ip 192.168.1.20

but now they have changed the firmware of the it can only be configured from their end by the software which they have purchased from ubquity and rukus ithink no no iam sure its ztee software which they r using

Recently I got NANOSTATION2 PICO from my friend which is provided by tikona. I want to use it for boosting another service provider wifi signals. So, let start how we can find nanostation2 device ip and username and password for accessing web config so that we can use it with another service provider are

1. Generally you can start with default information and if you found that its not working than try to flash the nanostation as it may result in bricking your router.

1.a Directly plug lan cable from Nanostation adapter (POE) to your computer lan card and set lan card address to 192.168.1.254 netmask 255.255.255.0 gateway blank dns blank

1.b Try to ping 192.168.1.20 and if its pinging than step 1.c

1.c Open web browser and try to open 192.168.1.20 , it will ask for username and password try user: ubnt and pass: ubnt. If its open you are luck and change settings according to your requirement.

2. If you fail in step 1 then you have to flash default firmware on nanostation below is the procedure are


First of all, power off the device
Setup your PC: Windows PC's Ethernet must be configured manually with the following settings (under Network Connections):
IP Address: 192.168.1.254, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Connect AirOS/Nanostation device to PC
1. Begin by depressing the reset button. Keep holding, then power the unit on. Wait 8 seconds then release the button (if you want to reset the unit to factory defaults, wait at least 15 seconds). Signal LEDs will be lit indicating that the device is ready for recovery
2. Make sure that AirOS device responds to pings (perform a ping 192.168.1.20 from a DOS window), if it does not, go back to the first step

3.Upload firmware image file .bin (You can download airos flash image from ubnt .com) to 192.168.1.20, using a TFTP client software (binary mode). Windows integrated command line TFTP client or download a third party utility to upload the AirOS firmware.

4. From Windows PC, you can use TFTP command line from a DOS window (START>>>CMD):

5. Go into the same directory structure as the firmware (e.g., assuming that you have stored the image files in c:\firmware directory, type the command :cd c:\firmware) and enter the following (for help type TFTP -h) , e.g.:

tftp -i 192.168.1.20 put XS2.ar2316.v3.4-rc.4351.090504.2146.bin

6. Signal LEDs will keep blinking one by one in 4 different colors during firmware upgrade. Wait for about 7-10 minutes (devices and firmware depending) - do not power off the device during the procedure!

7. After 10 mins restart the device and follow step 1 (upper part).
