    Arrow MM2211 Gateway

    Hello,
I have been able to login of MM2211 gateway.
    here are details
    IP: 192.168.30.10
    SUBNEt: 255.255.255.0
    gateway: blank

    open 192.168.30.1 in browser
    use admin/password for logging in...

after that the problem is that the device is readonly.. i cant figure out how to change settings.
i believe we require to change or upgrade the framework or we need to login by telnet.
i can open login propmt of ssh by putty on port 22 but unable to login there.
well please try and test and post results here, i would have tried it, but gotta go malaysia tonight,so not enought time.

But please test and post results here
If you need help post here

And i am thirsty for thanks, so dun forget to thank me.

Open Lan properties (right click on lan icon in task bar or your network adapter in network options)
    then click properties

in the TCP/Ip again click properties and select manual
    then enter the following details
    IP: 192.168.30.10
    SUBNEt: 255.255.255.0
    gateway: blank

After that you will not be accessed to internet. then try what i have mentioned above.

Further note that you need to be connected by straight Ethernet Cable (provided by tikona) and not by wireless. Also if it didnt work out, try to do that after removing antenna or a area where the signal strangth is not there.
But probably it will work without removing antenna.

    post if problem persists.

Have they provided you 8dbi antenna
also try using ethernet cable rather then wifi...

They told that to reset the device, put a pin or safety pin, in the hole on the side of antenna and press for 10-15 seconds.

i will be trying out next month once i get back.. meanwhile if someone doesit, please post here result.

hi vinz89,i have tried what u have written but none is working out.i am only left with doing the following method by removing antenna(so that signal becomes weak).can u suggest some more methods to open and change settings of the modem or some software so i could try to make some changes in tikona wifi modem.thanks in advance.

have you manually changed your ip...
As far as i have stidied, once connected by cable the router has two ips,one is192.168.30.1 and other is in 192.168.0.X range.(second is random and i have seen 3 different ips)

the antenna and signal are secondary, but you need to have change the ips i have said manually.
    do one thing,
change the pip configuration of your sustem, to that as i have said,
then try logging in to 192.168.30.1.

if that work out, i will be posting a article soon at my blog for finding the ip and hacking it out, will update the link here.

That will not work since it is in bridge mode and not route mode.

you won't get an IP address ?
    when you enter

You try, and then say it did not work.
    Say
    error 404/
    or
    error message "................."
    No window opened.
    nothing happened etc.
    No problem.
    2.
Don't say it will not work and give the same "hackneyed' reason for past one week
    or
    3
.say, no way the settings can be accessed
( you have accessed them ?)
    4
.and even if you access the modem settings pages you cannot do any changes !
    5.
    or

when they ask the same question.

    hi there,
i have tested it and said that. i have done ccsp (cisco security professional) and working as an network security analyst. i had tried it, while i was analyzing the device.

    i tried theip from external.
only 3 local ports are accessible 22,453,80. i have stated settings that workedfor me. how i got that, i said i will be posting screenshots once i return.
for me the ruckus device permanent address was 192.168.31.1 and temprary address was 192.168.229.1 (also 192.168.229.54)

also settings are not read only. they can be changed but we need to get super user rights. the admin/password is only view mode.
for super user username: super, password i am not able to figure out yet.

hope it could satisfy for the time being.
    Thanks

I had posted the USER MANUAL link
When you get time, you can read it.

Anyway first time I have learnt that a modem is "READ ONLY " with a particular ID and Password.

i have a friend in ruckus sales dept.
he said, the company does customized programming of devices for ISP. Those settings are with only ISP and Ruckus Tech Dept and cannot be fetched. on his advice i also posted a query in official ruckus forum, they also said the same.

the user manual is for those who purchase it form company, as they have access to super user. and will be useful only once we get super user access. I read that 10-15 days back from original ruckus site.
i have read manual, as thats the basic step for reading.

Is there a way to bring this device to factory defaults?

Will this be on any use?

Tikona has set the router for their WIFI services
and probably do not want you to share the connection
    with other computers /laptops etc,
and may expect payment for a new connection.
    When you disconnect TIKONA service
you have to returnthe unit in working condition
.Else you have to pay Rs 1000/= or Rs 1500 extra.
( check in their website ).
IT is not sold to you.
    Para two:
The RUCKUS modem /router can be set to factory defaults but
If you cannot see the details of default IP ACCESS USERid AND pw
You wiull loose the connection and onlyTIKONA can restore
    connection.
You seem to have done RESET earlier.
No other ISP available in your area ?

This MM2211 appears to have dual wifi mode.

I agree with @essbebe, its right that they have not sold the instrument.

if you sstill want to reset, there is a small pin size hole at the back side at right most, you need to press a paperclipthere for 8-10 seconds to reset it..

then it will reset. but you loose al settings, and you need to call tikona peop;e then to continue....

i have tried pinning method way number of times but still its not restoring it to the factory default settings.do not know what's the problem.one day(last month) when i was having no signal, tikona guys suggested me to pin it for 10-15 seconds and then after doing it for number of times only once it showed 192.168.1.1 .well for the past few days i am trying it hard with this pinned method but now its not showing the following default gateway address again.any more suggestions.when it showed the following 192.168.1.1
address both lights except power and ethernet was not red they were off(it was showing them off.)
