    Post TIKONA HATE CLUB (pledge here if tikona ripped u)

    Ok! here's the deal
    DAY1 : i called up a certain sales executive n they showed up in like 15 mins,gave them the installation charge in cash.they assured me connection will be done in the evening.They never showed up..

    DAY2 : after several phone calls two engineers who looked totally confused showed up..started fiddling wit their nano,A.P whatever. Apparantly there was no signal,device needs to be on the roof top.I did not have the keys to the top floor,so they opted to be back the next day.

    DAY3 : no one showed up, after several calls..i was told it was their offday(Tuesday). I knew that,but yesterday the two guys assured me they can send someone even though it was their offday..(i'm pissed)

    DAY4 : here we go again... call this call dat... this time i managed to get their branch leader whom they simply called Madam(). i called her up..guess what??? Four guys showed up in like 5 mins . i wonder why they hesitate to come before? must have been Cricket?? Sachin got a double century...hail sachin...u're too good ...man...
    ok continue---here they are fiddling and dangling their nanos an A.Ps... ***sir no signal**... lets go upstairs then..i had already managed to get spare key from my neighbour upstairs(yesterday). surely i'm goin online this time....?? **sirji our A.P is broken we will be back tomorrow**
    DAY5: im pissed i want my money back.... countless calls... unanswered....

    DAY6 : its clear im gettin ripped off..why dont they even care to rectify whatever.... now we are at war... i raise my voice... talk to this guy..dat guy...madam....sir...manager...engineer...salesman ....damn i just want my documents n money back... ****ok ..ok.. sir we will bring ur money n documents before 11 am tomorrow...dont worry...definitely it will come...ok****
    seems they are alittle intimidated cause i said im gonna press charges...
    so the deadline is 11 am tomorrow...

    DAY7 : today is the day im gettin rid of all these Tikona nonsense......ummm maybe not... hello its 11:40 am no one showed up... no calls no apologies whatsoever...
    you wouldn't believe how may calls i made to all those ignorant people...including tikona care (three times maybe). What should i do now.... DO I REALLY PRESS CHARGES...??? Help me out...i dont want trouble...i just wanna Surf dats all....

    DAY8 : i got my documents back...but where's my money....apparantly the sales man dont have cash so they gave me their draft in tikonas name as assurance....***sir i'll come back on the 2nd...i'll give u cash ...u give me demand draft back...ok..ok..*****

    p.s - this is no propaganda its a fact... i can give u names n phone numbers of all those i have dealt with

    before giving the money you should have check with then whether signals are available at your place.

    haha well said deep.... the thing was when i ask them for the demo,they tpld me ***no problem will work fine***
    Finall i got me money back after 8 or 9 days case closed

    I feel sorry for you. But recently they were featured on Gadget Guru(NDTV Profit) and were pretending as if they are India's Comcast. One shall not forget they are the brainchild of BSNL/MTNL veterans.
    Fact:75% users of this forum don't know the difference b/w bit & byte.:sleep1:

    my dear deepmohan, i have checked with them about signal quality at the time of installation. their ap is near our house. signal quality was good at that time and it is still good now too. but i'm still getting slow speed.

    I 'll agree with you surferji..
    we have applied for a connection(paid money by cheque) for us and it has been almost 15 days that no technical people has turned up to install the connection.

    And the executive who booked the connection from us will not lift the call and is the same with his stupid manager...
    These people wont answer the call itself and im afraid how will they serve us later...

    Even i called Tikona Care some 8 times and they say that they will resolve our issue in 24 hours (and every time i call they'll give a complaint no. but none of them is resolved till now...) and when we call back after one day they will it will take 24 more hrs and then 48 hrs and we insist they say someone will be calling back to us in 2 hrs or in half an hour(even when we call at 11 pm donno y these people give false promises).. and I say till not a single person called us back...



    Seems i shud do tapasya to get this connection...

    u shud contact their nodal manager. i had problam. i got sorted out. details of nodal offizer is mentioned on their website.

    I had applied for Tikona Connection on 27th FEB 2010.

    I want this connection to be discontinued and want back my Rs 500 check back.

    From 27th FEB the problems from Tikona side i am facing is as follows

    I applied for the connection on 27th FEB 2010. The sales person called me many times and asked me to take a connection.
    As per the plan he offered me FUL599 plan and he assured me with this plan i will get 300kbps. Also he assured me that this will work on 1st MARCH.
    Then i provide him all the related documents required for the connection. But after getting all this he did not call me. I called him so many times
    Many times he did not pick up my phone. Then tuesday some technical people came and installed this connection. But they went back and did not bother
    to show me the speed. They told me u will get USER name and PASSWORD in the evening.

    Then again one more technical person came in the evening. But he told
    me the speed is very less. He tried to repair it but at last after 2 and 1/2 hour later he told me that i am not able to solve the problem. Then next day even nobody
    called to ask what is happening. Then i called with same sales person This time he told me to tell this problem to customer care. Then after calling so many times
    from my side one more technical person came. He tried to solve the problem. He told now its ok as the speed was coming not exactly up to the mark but ok.

    But still this connection is not working fine. I called to customer care on thursday they told they will send technical person. But that technical person came on saturday evening.
    He also tried but was not able to solve the problem.

    Again i called customer care for disconnecting this tikona internet connection.
    They told me to send a mail to customer care for getting back that Rs 500 back which they people got during installation.

    So now i want my money back and already i have raised the request for dicsonnection.

    See wht customer care people did after raising the request of disconnection.

    When i called to customer care one person told me that ur request for disconnection is in process. Only 4 days passed so with in 3 days connection will be discontinued and there is no billing to ur account and u will get installation charges back.

    Then again i called after 10 minutes to Technical people of customer care. One person told me that your request for disconnection is canceled by one of their department because they want to repair it. They did not even ask me wheather i want to cancel my disconnection request. Now the same person told me ok now i am raising a request to disconnect and it will take 7 days to disconnect.

    I don't know wht the hell these people are doing. I am personally suggesting to every one Don't take TIKONA connection. It will make u suffer a lot.

    Default TIKONA IS THE KING OF ISP's

    Tikona is a fraudulent company with untrained, ill-manned, uneducated and stupid employees.
    I made a grave mistake of purchasing a connection with them 2 years back and after using it for 2 months i had it disconnected because they have really bad network speed even if it is promised 1 mbps Google.com takes 2 min to load.
    Even 2 years after disconnected i still get calls from their billing desk saying that you have pending bills. WOW

    Tikona may not be but its employees behaves like 'thug' and 'uthaigeer'. They dont respond to customer complaints. Their mentality is so much changed that if a person throws a shoe on them, they will not react or respond to that also.

    I join this club as well. They are a black mark on IIT engineeers.. The founder is a old IIT engineer. On tikona Internet "Microsoft Office Comunicator 2005" is blocked and when I ask them to enable it they say its problem with my laptop. The same "Microsoft Office Comunicator 2005" work on the same office laptop when I use Airtel 3g data card and when tested by my friends BSNL Internet.

    I regret taking TIKONA Internet and the wrost part is, none of the Technicians have any idea about the problem. they are rude and shameless and dont know what they are talking. Also, when ever I call them ..there call center is like a fish market..I can hear all the background noice and the technician cant hear me properly.

    THey are horrible. Please refrain from taking TIKONA.

    I am the new member into this club... they awarded the worst sevice at the time of installation.. it took 10 days to install and yet not configured the wifi properly...If you call many times they dont even answer you.. Tikona in Chennai sucks!!!

    Angry The first lesson the teach you in TIKONA training is "How to act dumb ?"

    I have spoken

    to local sales,technical,advanced technical,appallete authority,local technical,Customer care.

    I am not exaggerating . Atleast 50 times I and my friend spoke. The person on the other side will have nil context.

    The technical team people are always rude.

    They just act dumb. I dont know if they remove their slipper when the get into work, but they surely remove their brains and keep it outside.

    I always wonder if these kind of people exists.

    Mine worked for 20 days and for four months they keep dragging.

    I dont know how they can even run a company like this.

    This experiences is for my friend in coimbatore.

    i have reported this complain many times but still this sucking problem is not solved . even customercare is disconnecting my calls knowingly.always during surffing my net stops working and then i hav to restart all the things again.in techinical support option they were telling my user id as invalid ...... i dont want this disgusting connection and dont need it, because i dont have time to call customercare everyday on the same issue, so i want you to send someone to bindup the materials and cut the connection.Really this is very disgusting service and i will stop my other family members to seek tikona.Definately.tikona worst network

    Are you still using Tikona?

    If not has the disconnection completed?

    I am worried now as I am not getting status update on my termination request. Rather than that I get calls now for requests made earlier for support. I have been clearly stating, just honour my termination requestion.

    i m using tikona in bangalore since last month but had called customer care more number of times than i had talked with my DAD over last year ... too many disconnections, speed issues ... have got irritated with it .. Please guys save yourself ... do not take TIKONA .... i m trapped ... do not want others suffering & F***ing tikona guys enjoying with our moneys

    I too had worst experience with them. Just after a month I got rid of it and switched to Reliance. Till now Reliance is giving consistent speeds without any issues.

    I too agree with pavan. The service is dirty and I feel cheated. If you ask them to close the connection because of dissatisfaction they are more than happy to serve you and will close the connection without taking a note of your grievances.

    Guys specially planning to purchase the connection in Pune. Please don't go for Tikona you will be heart broken..

    Never go for tikona connection.
    This is a company of highly unprofessional people and scammers.
    Flase billing, Illegal threat calls and no response to your requests /concerns is the way through which this company works.
