Thread: How to use Beetel 450BX1 modem with Tikona

Hi,
I had airtel previously and have beetel 450BX1 modem. But i changed my ISP to Tikona as i changed my address.

Can anyone tell me how to use Beetel 450BX1 modem with tikona.

Not possible. You can connect the rj45 of tikona connection to Lan1 of Beetel 450BXI. connect another Rj45 to system ethernet port.
If you get connected to Internet , wifi mode may also work.

You say, its not possible and then say try and it may be possible!!

Convert your wifi router to only AP (Access Point)

This is what we have to do: www tomshardware com/forum/36406-43-convert-wireless-router-wireless-access-point

1) Enable Wifi, Give SSID and enable Wifi security.

2) Go to Advanced Settings--> LAN --> Click the radio button "Disable DHCP Server". Change the IP Address to 192.168.1.253

and now you should be able to connect through Wifi.
