I had requested to terminate and discontinue this connection from September 21st vide complaint no.I-1961488941 dated 21st Sept 2011. They assured me that I will be billed only for the proportionate days.
After some days again I checked up with customer care dept, and they replied that my request is under process. But even after 15 days when they did not take any action , I sent an email on October 5 and got acknowledgment regretting delay, and promising immediate action. I reminded on October 6 th also. There was no further response.
But now I have received a full bill for full amount for full month( from Sept 15 th to October 14th). I immediately contacted customer care number given in the bill. I was surprised that they said my connection was still kept active. But I had not used it also after the request for disconnection. They directed me to contact billing dept.
I am sorry to say that the customer dept respondents ( I talked to three of them in so many different calls in technical as well as in billing dept ) were not at all responsive. They were not giving the telephone number or email of any higher officials which I requested to take up for redressal.
Latest I sent e mail to nodal officer, and appellate authority on Oct 31st . Still there is no response from any of them. It is this helpless state that I am writing to this forum.
I think this forum may help enable some positive results.
I also request how to proceed further in this regard?
