I have subscribed for ZMR2999 Plan of Tikona wherein 2 mbps connectivity has been offered for 30 months/30000 MBs. For this Plan I paid Rs. 3308/- vide cheque.
Knowing that proper installation is not feasible, I, on 03.08.2011 through email,requested them to refund the subscription amount instead of connection of their internet. In response to my email, they asked me to pay overdue amount for disconnection. I was perplexed by their answer as there was no connection of internet.
On 04.08.2011, Their engineer visited my place for connection. I informed him that proper installation is not feasible, but, he assured me that internet will work fine as offered and committed by the company. Here, I have to mention that TIKONA sales person given me demo by clipping the modem in a 'Lathi'and lifting it high upto his head during the whole time of demo at the roof-top of the building. On assurance of the engineer, I agreed for installation and internet worked propery for only 2 hours on the same day.
On complaint, engineer re-visited on 05.08.2011 and re-fixed everything. On my pointing-out for non smooth working of the internet, he told that APN has some problem and the same will be rectified within 24 hours. But position did not improve and it was again down. on complaint, engineer visited on 08.08.2011 and re-fixed everything. But, the problem of slow/bad connectivity remained. For which engineer informed that some maintenance work is done at APN Tower at City Centre and this will improve after some time.
On 09.08.2011, connectivity was worst than GPRS. So, i lodged complaint again through email. In response to complaint, they suspended and blocked internet services without any prior information to me, stating non payment of bill. instead of solving connectivity problem. Which was re-opened at 10PM.
On same day, I inquired for overdue amount of bill as well as reminded them that "2 mbps error free connectivity has been offered and committed by them in the plan ZMR2999 subscribed by me. If they cant keep your commitment and unable to provide committed services, they should have to refund my subscription amount of Rs. 3308/-." Then, They again told me to pay outstanding amount for disconnection. On same day, complaint regarding connectivity problem was also closed without diagnosing and stating that "there is no problem in internet from their backend and the complaint is closed".
On 10.08.2011, in noon time, I again lodged two seperate complaint through email. One for connectivity problem and another for inquiry of overdue amount. In response to these mails, They again suspended and blocked internet services instead of solving connectivity problem.
Since then, I have emailed more than 40 time as well as to their Nodal Officer at Delhi, but they are neither repairing fault in connectivity and unblocking my account nor refunding me my subscription amount. They have become so deaf that no response is given for my emails. On 17.11.2011, I talked with Nodal officer at New Delhi, but he shown his inability to solve my problem.
So, forum members would have realised how bad and worst Tikona is.
