    Default Change Tikona LAN Configuration

I just started using tikona few days back & previously I was using BSNL broadband connection, but I have not removed my BSNL. So my problem is that I am not able to connect to BSNL(wired connection) since I have started using tikona(connected through Ethernet), but as soon as I turn my BSNL modem to WI-FI mode I can connect to BSNL wirelessly. So I want to know whether tikona makes any changes to LAN configuration, if yes then what should I do so that I could connect to both Tikona & BSNL through wired connection.

    1.

Tikona ISP & BSNL ISP BB connection cannot be connected to Ethernet Port
of Desktop at the same time.
For BSNL Try USB PORT if available in router.

    2.
If you are using Windows 7 OS, the ethernet cable can remain connected.
    Either Tikona or BSNL.

    3.
In Network settings (LAN card) select IP address automatically/ Also DNS.

    4.
BSNL supplied WIfi router ( mention model number/make)

    5.
    Mode of connection of BSNL
"Dialer"( "Bridged" option in WAN page )
    or
    PPPoE( "Always On"){userid/pw stored/entered in router WAN page}

    Feedback Item wise.

Hey First of all thanx essbebe for your prompt reply.

    1.
I am not connecting Tikona & BSNL simultaneously. I am just using BSNL in between 2 am to 8 am to get advantage of free night usage & there are no USB port available in router

    2.
I am using windows vista sp2

    3.
Yeah I have selected IP address automatically but I am using OpenDNS severs for DNS but that should not be problem at all.

    4.
    BSNL Router Info:
NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS Residential Router 1600

    5.
    I am using PPPoE connection.

Actually when connecting BSNL through ethernet port I cant even access my default gateway at 192.168.1.1, despite the Internet LED on my router being on. but strangely Wi-fi connection works perfectly so basically I think after installing Tikona, it has made some configuration changes in Ethernet LAN, I dont know what?

Create two network connections ( rather three )
    1. For Tikona ( Using Wi-Bro )
    2. For Bsnl in PPPoE ) "always On" userid/Pw stored/ entered in modem
    or "Bridged"mode ( Your Choice)
    3. For WIfi mode.
    4. Network settings for all obtain IP address dns automatically.

Check BSNL functioning in LAN and wifi mode.

    Para twO:
Connect Tikona RJ45 ( No router) to ethernet port of desktop.
Check connected to Internet. ( LOG in mandatory)
WA3002_g4 will access bsnl in wifi mode.

    Para three;

    RESET WA3002_g4 to Access192.168.1.1.
( access in rear or bottom right of model small round hole
Press with Used/empty ( rs 2/each now !!) ball pen refill for about 20 to 40 seconds ( modem power On )

See link wa3002_g4 guide below for settings.
    Feedback.
