    Post Tikona not disconnecting even after requesting them a month back

    Dear sir,

    My TIKONA user id is 1104743303,and i was requesting for the last one month to disconnect their services but nothing happened so far.From 1st January,2012 itself i have stopped using Tikona and i tried to contact Tikona care several times but i received the same reply that all their officers are busy attending other customers! On 06/01/2012 i called nodal officer(Pune) no.020-66047373 and the lady gave the request no.1-2087129581 and gave me wrong E-mail id of "customercare@tikona.com" to send mail instead of "customercare@tikona.in! On same day i have sent E-mail requesting to disconnect their services immediately to customercare@tikona.in. I received no reply from them. After some days again i called their Tikona care no.18002094276 and i was told that my Tikona connection was disconnected and their person will collect modem etc.,within two days, but those two days still not arrived.Meanwhile I have taken some other internet provider from 1st January,2012 itself.

    Recently when I logged in their site, I found their billing for full month(upto 25/01/2012) and my connection was still active! That means everybody there in Tikona lying. When I asked about this they said request dated 06/01/2012 was closed and new one was created on 18/01/2012.How? I was told my request will be looked upon on priority basis but nothing happened so far.

    I have never come across such irresponsible,rude and filthy service in my life. Once even recommended Tikona to my friend but FORTUNATELY he wanted to apply after some time, he was saved for life.

    Yesterday(02/02/2012) at 4.45pm., I made a call to nodal officer(Pune) no.020-66047373 and talked with one Namrata and she said my connection is still active, and my request will be forwarded to the concerned dept.,.

    Frustrated with Tikona and hope to take some measures soon.

    Measures:
    1. post the same sad story in Mouth shut and all broadband forums known to you ( i doubt tikona will care!)
    2.Even though you have stopped using, they are generating bill and you can not stop it that easily.
    3. check where is the nearest consumer court. keep printed copies of all documents and file. no lawyer required and nominal fee. They will send summons to them.
    4. if your uncle or aunty is a practising lawyer, send them a "vakil notice' threatening to sue for shitty service.Then they will come. In this forum only Tikona BOTs visit and post "conatct us"
    5. start a " I hate Tikona" club !!

    Hello Tikona,

    You replied saying request has been forwarded and would TRY to resolve it in 24-48 BUSINESS HOURS.THIS YOU REPLIED ON

    04/02/2012 IN THIS PUBLIC FORUM,OK? THOSE 48 BUSINESS HOURS FROM 04/02/2012 ARE NOT OVER EVEN AFTER FIVE DAYS?

    I am using Tikona in Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai.
    Got fed up with the pathetic service.
    512 kps connection and still quite often google page refuses to open!!!
    Such speed is really pathetic.
    I think my earlier Cable wala was far better than this.
    I will go for my earlier cable SPECTRANET.

    And tomorrow it self will call tikona customer care and then see how much time they take to close and discontinue the connection.
