I have been using tikona broadband, i found it was very reliable and good.

well, that means you're using Tikona just to check your mail and news. Try downloading a torrent, and port forwarding. You will realise the true potential (pun intended)

In torrent I get easily 240-300kbps on 2mbps connection, offcourse the speed also depends on the no of seeds.

Please do test at a distant server.
