    Default Connectivity issue on Tikona

    Tikona User ID: 1106176159
    Complaint ID: 1-2485531214

I am a subscriber of Tikona wireless broadband from April 2012. In the mid of July I faced the connectivity issue. After complaining a lot of times and registered a disconnection request on 1-Sep-2012, the issue got solved but the disconnection request is still in progress. After one month, the same issue started again from 20th Oct 2012. I registered a complaint on 22-Oct-2012. Till date(28-Oct-2012) they have taken no action. On 26-Oct-2012, I have mailed regarding this issue to s.nair@tikona.in, till now no response. On calling their tool-free number, I was informed every time that the complaint is in progress and will get resolved within 24hrs.

This is the worst ISP in India I ever seen.

As per our conversation with you on 16th November 2012, the technical issue has been resolved and currently you are able to use the service.

Please feel free to contact us on 1-800 209 4276 to provide us any feedback regarding our service our Customer Care associate will be glad to assist you"

    Tikona Services,

On 16th Nov 2012, I was confirmed that the problem is solved. In the evening on same date when I checked, I got the result as per the attachment below and registered a new complaint(1-2504714753). I think I don't have any other job rather than registering complaint after complaint:

Now you say how you have solved the problem?

However I am not using your service from 17th Nov 2012 and subscribed to airtel broadband, so you don't need to be worried for the resolution of my complaints.

As you are not processing my disconnection request, I am not going to pay the current bill which should be lead to a disconnection automatically. The complaint for disconnection was logged on 1st Sept 2012. Now its mid of November. As per your rule disconnection should be processed within 45 days. Now its more than 80 days. Why you have not disconnected till now. And I am wondering to see your auto generated mail that says my number is not reachable. How can this be possible that everybody except your technical team are able to contact me.

    Thanks.

They really are lazy ass! My disconnection request dated Dec 2010 is still "in progress" . . . Anyway I did not return their modem and other accesories. Not to mention those devices are useless!

I think there is no body whose connecton has been disconnected as per request. The only way to disconnect is DO NOT PAY BILL.
Couple of my friends are also going to disconnect tikona due to the same issue. Till date I have not found a happy tikona customer in my surroundings.

After a long effort Tikona has been disconnected on Nov 2012. I have returned the modem on mid of Dec 2012. I have attached the receipt of device recovery in this post.
Today I got a call from 011-48121350 stated that Tikona has filed a case against me for the outstanding amount of Rs.1500/-. The person who called said that he was calling from Uttam Nagar Police Station and I have to go there. When I called on 18002094276 (Tikona Customer Care), they said the same amount as outstanding. When I said that I have already returned the device and can produce the receipt, the CS person told to ignore the call and the database will be updated.

Why Tikona did not verify whether the device is returned or not before filed the case. If I will get any more call for the same, I will file a case against Tikona.

Other members on this forum, Please tell me the procedures to file a consumer case against Tikona.

You can file a case against them at your nearest consumer forum. The fees are Rs100 in postal order and I think Rs10 for some form or something I am not sure but it comes to a total of Rs110 and you do not need a lawyer as you are allowed to represent yourself. These forums are very tough on companies and I am sure you will get justice from there.

Admin, could you start a thread on this? Is it done online, or do we need to go to a court? I would have lodged a complaint aganist Tikona a long time back if I was aware of the procedures!
