Default Which is the best selling car from Toyota in India?

Which do you think is the best selling car in India..

From my point i think it is Toyota Innvoa. I have seen a lot of Innova on road and more over it is really a good car for commercial use such as Taxi. So i think this is the best selling car in India from toyota till date.

Toyota is a good company and if you see you would notice that each and ever car of there had been a good seller but from all right now Innova is higest on the sales records.

I think corrola will sale the best, because it's a powerful, family car. And take care of every need you have.

Corolla is a family car in USA and the developed countries. In India, it is bracketed as a Luxury car. In the USA, the fully loaded Corolla (same specs as in India) sells for $18,500 or so. This is equivalent to Rs. 8,14,000/- which is less than the Honda City-VTEC and same as SX4-ZXi. The cheapest Corolla in USA (basic version) sells for $15,500 or Rs.6,82,000/-. These are on-road prices.

Corolla in India will never outsell the Innova because Innova offers more value for money and the high-end taxi market buys Innova's a lot.

Toyota is the market leaders in asia. But I really do feel GM has the value for money tag.

Are you really serious? GM cars are one of the worst in terms of quality. I have seen a Qualis that has done 185,000 km and still going strong!!! Can you imagine a Tavera doing that?

The only good brand from GM (opel) disappeared from India. GM is selling Spark, Aveo (various variants), and Optra which are all Daewoo brands. I think Tavera is also a Daewoo brand but I am not sure. All GM cars suffer from long term quality issues. Hence how can they be value for money?

Ahem!! I was talking about Overseas market. Your are talking about Cherverlet, ford, opel etc, well they are just subsidy car brand. Haven't you seen a GM monster jeeps. Check U.S and middle-east markets. GM is kick-ass baby.

Overseas too GM has lost out - again the reason is quality. In America GM, Ford and Chrysler were called "the big three" - they still are referred by the same term but they are no longer "the big three". Combined between themselves they used to have 70% of US auto market in the 70s-80s but now it is 40%. Toyota and Honda have replaced them as the top sellers. Even Americans are not buying American any more.

GM may be making monster trucks and massive jeeps/hummers. But how does that equate to "value for money"? A Toyota car is a real value for money. You must read the book called "The Toyota Way" to understand what "value for money" means. No offense meant.

Also a correction, Ford is an independant auto maker and not a brand or subsidiary.

About FORD, it's my bad. They come at half the price, of almost, comparable toyota models.

GM is no match for Honda and Toyota... be it quality, reliability or value for money... and in resale value Honda and toyota beat the crap out of GM any day of the week... and that is true anywhere in the world not just India.

As of 2008, General Motors is the ninth largest publicly traded company in the world. It manufactures its cars and trucks in 35 different countries and sells them under the brands of Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GM Daewoo, GMC, Holden, Hummer, Opel, Pontiac, Saab, Saturn and Vauxhall.

But I will agree, GM is in losses now.

P.S Toyota is in 5th position.
