Just like Aashaka I have visited many places and its difficult to mention one favorite, as many places have their own beauty and attraction in many different ways.
There are places which suit your mood and for me every trip i have been to has been good and enjoyable!
I like many different kinds of places, be it a crowded place, quiet place, historical place, sight seeing place, beaches, hills etc.

As mentioned I don't have any particular favourites but some of the places I have been to in India are, Punjab, Shimla, Srinagar, Manali, Rajesthan, Goa, Assam, Agra, Ooty and many other places, and each place mentioned has its own beauty and attraction!
Places I have visited abroad are UK, France, Italy, Switzerland, USA, Australia, New Zealand Africa and Canada.

There are still many places that i want to visit in India and abroad!

Next time you get a chance to go there try a helicopter trip and you will love the grand canyon... Its a lot different in a chopper.
They do a one night stay at a ranch there and a horse ride and all that with roast dinner... its just fab.

Well, I haven't travelled much so far... But I would love to do so... In, India I have been to Patna(born here), Rajgir-Nalanda-Deoghar(Only places in current bihar that I've visited, famous for budhist temples, ancient university, One of Chaar Dhaams respectively), Ranchi-Bokaro(Only places in Jharkhand I've visited in my childhood), Manali(Been there twice...Vajpayees fav. vacation spot-lol), Nainital(Beautiful mall road around the lake), Agra(no need to mention about its aura), Chandigarh(definitely most well planned city I've seen in India so far), Delhi(was my base for three yrs in grads... sadly I was there when metro and few major roads & highways were building up... I shall love to enjoy the metro ride in future)...

Mumbai(City that never sleeps... I'm always thrilled whenever I visit it...), Pune(What to say more about it... I've already said enough at Night Life (Night Life in your city!) thread... B'lore (modified version of Pune), Hydrabad(City of nawabs, famous for delicious biryanis, necklace road, must visit - Ramoji Film city & Birla Mandir)...

Damn....i love being in nainital....but mussorie has been a favorite as i had an amazign trip.....specially kempty falls.....! go to this place called khali estate.....its like near by to nainital.....run by a gujju guy.....amazing place.....jus small cottages all natural lights n lanterns.....wid amazing greenries n views n the place n ppl ther er soo simple....its jus wow...!!!
Manali....is another nice place......n kuffrey is simply breath taking......

Two other places which were really beautiful at one pooint in time were Ooty n Kodai......but thy tooo ve been soo commercialised.....tht we cant get tht effect of a hill station.......

One place I didnt like much was Khajjiar.......as in.....theres nuthin there tht ppl call it mini switzerland....i had jus been there 4 mths back n its sooo dirty......!!!!

Apart from tht.....i vent been to MP which is on the list since past 7 yrs n everyitme gets cancelled sum or the other times.....!!!!

I really wonder y do ppl not care the natural beautiful places....go n pollute those places, make it dirty...... n even commercialize it....???? Really its about time ppl shud start taking care of these.......! the same ppl go out of India n freakign thy take care of it....like their own babies......than y not in ur own country....???

I don't like even a single foreign location

In India i have seen some most wonderful places created by god
Leh: Known a Leh-Laddakh a place full of Tibetan culture and people, this is the best place to feel chilled winds and the harsh winters, can feel temp as low as -10 degrees. I love to ride Himalaya's on bike.

Keylong: It is about 120kms from Manali and a great place to be, people ask not to visit this place between oct-april but i like to be there in month on Nov only.. a place where you can not se anything apart from snow and sky

Shimla: Capital city of Himachal, a good place for shopping and to feel fresh air.

Kargil: This is the same India-Pakistan 1999 war place, a place full of army and tall mountains, a chilling place which fills your body and soul with respect for country and people. There is no place for hangout, no markets to shop no tourists nothing but still a place full of positive energies.

Guwahati: A place full of very lovely people and so many good markets, a place from where you can get good stuff too

Shillong: I like caves and falls of Shillong, it is said that there are several caves here which leads to Bangladesh too and most of the caves are still unexplored as they are in tribal land and govt don't have good time and permissions to explore these place, i have seen some of the caves from inside and trust me if you go inside a cave it gives you a very strange feel

Jaipur: All forts like Amber Fort, Jaigarh and Narhargarh. These forts really makes me think about the power and money available in India and the toap gola talaab shows the power of biggest cannon which is installed on the top of fort. If you go to main city there are lot many shops to buy different things like jackets 100 grms quilt and lot many unique things. One thing which you can not afford to miss is katputli dance of jaipur and ajmer

Goa: Wow sea, water water everywhere no water to drink
The place where i lived a good part of my life with so many friends, i don't like the beaches of main city but if you go towards north goa then you can find lot many peaceful beaches where you can not see even a single tourist, i love sea and have spent a good time inside sea

there are lot many places to say will keep on updating the heritage and places of india

Another place i forgot to mention was Disney Land in Paris, which is very nice, not as big as Disney World itself, but still a brilliant place to go, and its good for every age! Like you Aashaka i really want to visit Disney World one day! I cant remember the names but there are some very good and famous theme parks in USA which i want to go to and try out the big roller coasters!
