Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a world class resort, located in the premises of the Walt Disney World, which is really close to the Typhoon Lagoon water park. The resort is reputed to be a moderately priced resort. The resort started its operation in the year 1988.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is designed in a way to incorporate a festive Caribbean theme. The resort has an arrangement for guests to stay in the small apartment buildings encircling Barefoot Bay which is actually a lake spread over a 40-acre area. The buildings are placed into six villages, each named after a Caribbean island. All the villages are sharing their resources
The Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort facilities are located at Old Port Royale. The place has a large numbers of restaurants, a food court that serves amazing foods, a gaming arcade, and two gift shops with amazing gift items.
The shores on which the resort is located there are hammocks, beaches, and activities like beach volleyball. The resort also has various water sports for resort guests like driving a speed boat. In each of the villages, there is a swimming pool and a playground that keeps the guests active.
Most rooms in the resort have two beds, a wardrobe, telephone, bathroom complete with a bathtub, shower and a toilet. There are sinks outside the bathroom, a safe to keep the belongings, a mini-fridge to keep the food, a place to keep the shoes and a television set.
Talking about the television, it showcases The Disney channel, The Walt Disney World Resort information channel, playhouse Disney among various other channels. The rooms are comfortably decorated in a style which is very colorful with regard to the Caribbean style of decoration. In 2008, Disney has introduced some innovations like adding a Finding Nemo theme.
